“This forum was very interesting and educational. I enjoyed it and learned a lot from this experience!”

“After today’s forum, I think I would like to become a nurse or a pediatrician.”

“Something really important that I learned today is the importance of looking professional for an interview!”

Cambridge Community Service holds a series of career forums for students at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. These forums provide an opportunity for students to learn about a variety of career paths and post-secondary options.

Each Forum consists of a panel of “experts,” including working professionals, representatives from higher education institutions, and CRLS graduates who have achieved success in their chosen field.

Sessions are interesting and interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions and talk one-on-one with presenters at the end of each program.

The goal of the forums is to expose students to a variety of job and educational possibilities in a variety of fields.

This 2009-2010 school year, CCS will host forums on:

Careers in Health Care, December 18th, 2009

Careers in Business, January 29th, 2010

Careers in Criminal Justice, February 26th, 2010

Careers in Technology, March 26th, 2010

Careers in World Languages, May 30th, 2010

If you are a college admissions representative, CRLS teacher, or student and would like more information about these forums, please contact Laura Martin.
