Mentor
Job
Description: Becoming a Mentor is a terrific way to
support young women in your community! Mentors serve
as advisors, role models, career and educational guides,
and trusted friends…every relationship is a little bit
different. This year, CAP will have an on-site
mentoring model which will require mentors to meet with
their mentees twice a month (every other Friday) at our
office. At each meeting, CAP will organize structured
activities focusing on college access (for 11th and 12
graders). Mentoring relationships with younger students
will be slightly different, consisting of off-site
meetings arranged by the mentor and mentee. CAP also organizes group outings for all

Tutor
Job
Description: Tutoring offers adult women the chance
to provide girls with academic support and act as positive
female role models. Tutors meet with students once a
week to provide help with one or more academic subjects,
and/or test preparation. Tutors must be able to
commit to 60-90 minutes per session (Sessions are usually
Wednesdays and/or Fridays on alternate weeks) Exact
tutoring schedule will be provided after signup.
